When the small ginger feline arrived at the animal shelter, he was infested with fleas and suffering from a serious upper respiratory infection. Due to his condition, he was transferred to the intensive care unit where he could receive the necessary medical attention. Thankfully, Tarin, a devoted foster carer and volunteer at Newborn Kitten Rescue located in Arizona, stepped in to help. She decided to take Muki under her wing and adopt him into her home, where he could receive the proper care and comfort needed for a speedy recovery.
As soon as Muki had his fill of food, he picked out a crib and nestled beside his toy. He dozed off soundly, comforted by the warmth of his bed. Through consistent administration of medication and tender care, Muki’s condition gradually improved. Not even a week had passed when he showed remarkable progress. His gorgeous eyes stood out more prominently, and his plush coat became even fluffier.
Despite being the smallest in his foster mother’s group of cats, Muki didn’t let his size hold him back from fitting in. In fact, he even became a regular visitor to the vet when Tarin noticed how much he enjoyed it there. Muki would eagerly go to the vet because he knew he would receive plenty of cuddles, earning him the title of a therapy kitten for everyone around him. Muki’s presence is known to brighten people’s moods, and he often thinks that humans are like giants trapped in machete suits.
He enjoys keeping those in his vicinity amused by standing up on his hind legs and appearing intimidating.
Tarin speaks highly of his pet’s character, noting that he possesses an exceptional personality and is incredibly brave. The furry friend has an endless desire to engage in playtime, particularly with boxes, which allows him to participate in a fun game of hide-and-seek.
Muki’s journey to recovery was closely monitored by a volunteer who eventually developed a deep affection for the little feline. It was not long before Muki found his forever home with the volunteer and her parents. The bond between them was instant, and they adopted another cat whom Muki adores. Today, Muki is surrounded by a loving family and his furry companion.
